Digital has increasingly emerged as a new platform for modern broadcast radio to expand its intimate connectivity to its listeners. Major broadcast players are true multi-platform companies.
This analysis shows that the largest digital-only music service, Pandora, accounts for 3.7% of total listening time (which includes their non-commercial premium listening.)
Digital is another asset in the toolbox of modern broadcast radio. Yet, total listening of digital radio including Pandora is still a small fraction of overall combined listening.
